TEACHER
Have you been drawing on the blackboard again, Sam ?
LITTLE SAM
I didn’t do it.
It was that Keogh bloke from Australia. You know – the one who puts words into our mouths. Frankly, I think he fancies himself as caricatoonist. That’s what he calls himself – what a smart ass !
TEACHER
What’s going on ?
LITTLE SAM
Well Keogh reckons (Australians like saying “reckon”) that Trump is such a narcissist that he doesn’t realize he’s like a walking, talking cartoon character, so he drew him like one. He deserves all the mockery he can get.
Bet he couldn’t laugh at himself if his life depended on it.
The funny thing is, Trump subliminally acts out and attracts his own greatest phobia – being ridiculed. As Andy Borowitz said, “Trump’s fear of being laughed at is nothing short of pathological.”

In these dangerous times, the truth must be told and understood as fact. This makes the role of principled, independent media, more challenging and more necessary than ever. Courage is the essence.
Enough sermonizing ! Let’s not lose sight of humor and comedy.
To quote Andy Borowitz again, referring to ridicule:
“The autocrats’ anxiety is entirely justified. Comedy is their kryptonite. They rule by intimidation, and when we laugh at them, their power to scare us evaporates.”
Bring on the Trump ridicule - and plenty of it !
That’s what Bruce Keogh reckons - verbatim.
